Devil May Cry 4 Lockups

I picked up a used copy of Devil May Cry 4, for the Playstation 3, for $25 the other day. I got it home and after spending about 20 minutes with the data install I was ready to play...But first, what I really wanted to see was 5+ minutes of cut-scenes right off the bat after waiting forever; DMC4 delivers on that end!

Anyway, I sit through that and then every time I finish the opening cut scene it would just lock the PS3 up. I finally realized that it was because I was downloading some stuff from the Playstation Network in the background. I paused those and all worked well.

This is just another case of poor QA in my opinion. If game is for the PS3, then it should run without a hitch when using a built-in PS3 feature like backgroud downloading. You could always do what Civilization Revolution does and pause them automatically at least.

It's important to note that this isn't the first game with the downloading problem. Another game I had problems with was Enchanted Arms.
